Welcome from our Principal
Dear Parents/Carers,
Welcome to Sutherland North Public School.
Sutherland North is a K-6 Primary school, located in the Sutherland Shire, south of Sydney.
Our beautiful school is set in park like grounds with open spaces and includes play equipment, two small soccer fields and an undercover court area.
Recently refurbished, the school buildings are attractive and well-maintained. Classrooms are inviting learning spaces with a range of resources including Interactive Whiteboards and computers.
Sutherland North Public School prides itself on a friendly, family atmosphere, built on the belief that children learn best through a strong partnership between home and school. Our staff are highly experienced and dedicated teachers who are committed to providing quality educational programs for a diverse range of students.
Emphasis is placed on the development of literacy and numeracy skills across all learning areas. Effective welfare programs ensure the nurture of all students. Learning support staff provide expertise to assist students with special needs.
Students also enjoy many extracurricular activities such as inter school sport, dance, choir and Ukulele. At Sutherland North Public School children flourish academically and socially in a caring environment with "Grounds to Grow".
