Sutherland North Public School values strong partnerships with our families and community. Parents and Carers can get involved through our Parents and Citizens Association (P&C) or by volunteering at our school.

Parents and Citizens Association (P&C)
The Sutherland North P&C is a vibrant community of parents, guardians, educators, and community members who are dedicated to the growth, development, and well-being of our children. We believe that by working collaboratively, we can create a nurturing environment that fosters excellence in education and supports the holistic development of every child within our community
The P&C provides an open forum for communication and discussion about education and general school policy; the school curriculum and new ideas associated with education and everyday school practices. They assist with school planning, fundraising, events and volunteering. Our P&C works in partnership with our school to promote the interests of our school community.

P&C Meetings
Join us for a meeting, our P & C meetings are held in week's 3 & 8 of each term from 7pm in the school library.

Helping out at school is a great way to get involved in your school community.
Volunteer opportunities include:
- helping in the canteen
- getting involved in the P&C
- listening to children read in the classroom
- volunteering on sports days and other school events
- helping supervise excursions.
